This place is wonderful! The restaurant decor is beautiful and has an elegant touch all around. Riley was our server for the evening and so great. We started with the caviar toast based on her recommendation and one of their theatrical drinks. I cannot express how good that was. Delicate and delicious. It's a higher price item but honestly worth it. The theatrical drink was really good. It was a passion fruit margarita. For our mains we got the salmon and dive scallops. The salmon was probably the best I've ever tasted and the scallops were divine. We ended the night with the 100 layer cake. Not at all what we expected but so tasteful. The only caution is this place does have an upbeat vibe so the music is a bit louder than other fine dining places I've gone to. I thought it fit the atmosphere but the other in my party wish for less. Glad I came here and hope to visit again in the future.

This place surprised me! Everything was really good. The hamachi crudo is a must try if you like yellowtail. Their truffle Parmesan filet was juicy and cooked well with tons of flavor. I also like their salmon too with their miso flavors. Would 100% come back here for the ambience and food experience again

Came for Valentine's Day and had a great time! The service was amazing! I loved how special they made the experience with champagne and I got a rose at the end of the night which I thought was super fun for Valentine's Day. They only had a pre-fixed menu available and the regular menu wasn't available but everything we had was good! My fish was a little bland but the steak and appetizers were amazing! I'd love to come back to try the normal menu. The only complaints I have is that we were sat at a pretty small table, that was super close to the ones next to it. I felt like I could reach over and touch the next tables food plates. The music was also a little too loud. Regardless we had a good night!

Really loud in here because there are a lot of people and a DJ. Even though I was seated next to two friends, I had a hard time talking. Service is great-our server was friendly and gave good recommendations. Their drinks are Alice in wonderland themed-get their theatrical drinks! The fog coming out is pretty cool. Spicy rigatoni looks basic, but it is delicious. Got the pizza-this was ok, a tad bit on the saltier side but it is a large portion, so I recommend this to fill you up. There is no dessert menu to look at so our server verbally described what they had. The charcuterie dessert was very appealing and when it came out, we were impressed with how it looked.

What an experience!! The perfect spot for an intimate special occasion or date night. This is one of those places where you pretty much have to make a reservation in advance. The vibe is classy and even the servers are dressed up in black. We waited a couple minutes before being seated. Jordan was our server and she had good recommendations. My favorite parts of the meal were definitely the drinks and the desserts: Drink: The Tea Party - comes with 2 drinks (they gave us 3 since the bread was taking awhile). They pour it out of the tea kettle for you. I loved the two little cookie dishes it came with! Complimentary bread: Flakey and warm with a hint of sweetness. Food: Overall, the food is very flavorful, but I did find it to be a tad too salty. - Rigatoni: My favorite dish we ordered! The pasta pieces are huge and the sauce is delicious and full of flavor. A little spicy too but not too much. - Mushroom pizza: it's the size of a medium pizza with 8 slices so this is good to order to fill you up. - Steak Tartare: I saw a lot of reviews mention this, but the flavor and texture were disappointing. I don't know if it was left out for too long, but it didn't taste very fresh and the bread was hard. Presentation was excellent though. - Scallops: The scallops had the perfect texture and the corn/puree was a great balance of sweetness to the saltiness of the scallops. There are only 3 scallops. Dessert: The "Faux Cheesy" - assorted desserts on a mock charcuterie board. They don't have a dessert menu so the server will verbally tell you about each one, they run for about $20 each. I've never seen a review mention the "Faux Cheesy" but I'm glad we chose it. The "cheese" was key lime pie, the "olives" were lemon cake in white chocolate, and the "salami" was raspberry semifreddo. Would highly recommend!! No complaints about the service! They refilled our waters often and another server even volunteered to take a picture for us when they saw us taking pictures. We used the inKind app to use an offer at the time, and it worked with no issue. They just couldn't split the check for us to each use the app. Since the music is loud and it's hard to hear across the table, I wouldn't recommend this for large birthday parties, but more for intimate gatherings of no more than 4 people.

The Guest House Austin is almost always listed as a top 10 romantic spot in Austin but I would caution that it is not for every couple. The decor is absolutely beautiful with classy furniture and lighting and the bar area is very intimate and exclusive feeling. The vibe and music however, is more of a lively club lounge kind of feel. I really enjoyed eating here and embraced the unexpected atmosphere, but if you are looking for somewhere more quietly romantic, manage your expectations here. First off, we got free pastry with olive oil that tasted like a square croissant. It's got a nice soft crunch and with the olive oil tastes really really good. Steak Taretare (5/5) You should not dine here without ordering this. The toast is crunchy but not so much that it's too much of a contrast to the soft delicious steak on top. When you bite into it, it's seems as if it just elegantly yields to the flavor of the steak flavor and seasonings. Seared Diver Scallops (5/5) These scallops are very big and tastes just decadent! It comes with caramelized corn and sauce that includes parsnip and aji amarillo. The best way to eat this is to cut a piece of scallop, and liberally dip and slide it in the rich and creamy sauce. There's a yellow border around the sauce and it adds another depth of flavor to the scallop so make sure you dip that part too. The flavor of this dish is just amazing to me, with hints of citrus, sweet and savory profiles. My only gripe is that there's only 3 scallops. I think 4 would hit the spot. Salmon Faroe Island Salmon (5/5) This salmon has, maitake, shiitake, & enoki mushrooms with ponzu brown butter Server asked if medium well done is ok, and I said I wanted it "slightly" more rare than that and guess what? It came out absolutely perfect, with inside showing just a hint of pink. The salmon is a very large and satisfying portion and the flavor is very delicious but I wish there were more than just a few mushrooms. Our server, Mikelya, looked like she really enjoys her job and our company. She's very sweet and takes the time to explain the food and drink options. The operation of this restaurant however definitely needs more improvement. From the time we sat down to when we left, I think I counted 7 times the servers came out with the incorrect order to the wrong table including one time on our table as well. And I think it's almost comical that they twice gave the free appetizer to two different tables when they were finished eating. Lots of puzzled faces and annoyed expressions that night. I also think the tables are placed way too close to each other to the point that if you wanted to go the bathroom it's a bit of an ordeal. Despite those hiccups, I think the food is amazing and I'll surely come back to try other items.

This place is so chic! It's down town and just cool--legit could be in a bravo show. It was low lit and had great music--they really thought about design and put the speakers in good locations so it's never too loud. It's cute and fancy dining but approachable! We started with the table bread which was super light almost like a croissant. Everything we ordered was so good!! We loved the tartare and I loved the scallops. They were perfectly done and the sauce they came with was so good!! We got a theatrical drink of the tea party which was cute and Alice and wonderland themed. It wasn't as theatrical as some of the others but it was cute and good! The service was exceptional. Our waitress was so sweet and guided us through our meal. We will be back with friends!

This place has a good vibe and energetic music. The staff is very friendly. We had the Steak Tartare, Spicy Rigatoni, Wagyu Burger, truffle fries, and creamed Spinach. Our favorites were the Steak Tartare with a hint of Truffle and the spicy rigatoni which was al dente. For dessert, we had the campfire sundae with homemade marshmallows and homemade ice cream.

Highly recommend love an upscale with beautiful decor we came for their crafty cocktails. Magic Mushroom and the Looking Glass martini is such a beautiful experience with the petal fog and the hibiscus fog the drinks are so good and fun. We can't wait to go back and try the tea party! The food was perfect we only came for drinks but We had hamachi crudo and spicy rigatoni for a starter and shared the heirloom apple & endive very flavorful and perfect to share. Such a wonderful experience. Will most definitely have to come back so much more we would like to try! Service was great we had two different servers but both were very knowledgeable and helpful. The ambiance is nice really enjoyed the live music as well.
